The first area the office is responsible for is the Comprehensive Advisement Center (CAC). The CAC is responsible for creating all new student schedules, advising all new students and continuing advisement for students that have declared an "Exploratory" major. The CAC also is responsible for handling the schedules for all Bridge students for the first year to year and a half.
Secondly, is the Academic Peer Advisement Program (APAP). The APAP is comprised of a group of students that are trained in assisting other students in transitioning to ORU and its lifestyle. They also manage and run the Peer Advisors Coaching and Educating program, otherwise known as PACE. Currently the APAs are meeting once a week to allow students the opportunity to meet with peer APAs to get assistance and tutoring subjects that they may be struggling in.
